Personal Statement

My passion is for creating an atmosphere of empathy where people can feel
seen. I bring a compassionate lens to root issues and enjoy empowering and
equipping others to develop various skills that lead to more joy in their life.
I see each person as unique and enjoy listening for the specific gifts they
carry, this allows me to customize strategies that help release healing.

Through my diverse and extensive community experience, I have developed
social-emotional workshops for high school youth, encouraged engagement
across different age groups, coached and mentored young competitive
athletes, and created effective experiential programming. In addition, my
work as an outdoor educator has allowed me to engage young people who
wrestle with risk-taking behaviors, emotional connections, and leadership.
I take joy in being in the process with others and watching them expand
into more of whom they are designed to be.
Currently, I reside on the northwest side of Chicago. I was born and raised
on the north side and am a pizza connoisseur of sorts. Fall and summer are
my favorite seasons. In my free time, I am an outdoor enthusiast and often
can be found hiking, running, kayaking, or camping alongside friends and family.

Approach to Therapy

I invite you into a space where it is safe to process your experiences in ways that will lead to increased freedom in your life and relationships. You can expect that together, we will discern your pace and will celebrate small changes as they lead to lasting change. Together we will search out truth that will bring clarity and healing, where walls and divisions have fragmented. I have experience integrating the tools of psychology, incorporating biblical principles, and looking at dreams given to you that can awaken your personal design and release you into your untapped potential. I look forward to serving each individual in a holistic way as a compassionate listener who is able to create an authentic and welcoming space for all.
