Personal Statement

It’s not uncommon for individuals to experience life challenges that pressure and extend them in various ways. Sometimes, it can feel hard to make sense of what you’re up against. These may be past experiences, present difficulties, or future worries, which may propel various emotions. It’s an honor to provide you with a safe therapeutic environment where you can feel fully seen and known within your story. Some circumstances can naturally create feelings of isolation; however, you don’t have to remain there. I consider it a privilege to gradually learn who you are as I walk alongside you in a season of your life, helping you make sense of your story and life challenges. The healing journey can feel like a winding road. However, it often creates opportunities in therapy for you to become more acquainted with who you are, your values, your purpose, and who you want to become. I want us to collaborate in your journey, providing you with the space you need to process and the tools to succeed. I believe every person has what it takes to figure out their path forward; I’m here to help you see that about yourself and empower you along the way. We will celebrate every step forward toward healing and wholeness you take in your journey.

Approach to Therapy

I spent my whole childhood in South America and moved to the States when I was 18; I consider myself bicultural in many ways. In turn, I value walking alongside people in a way that honors and respects their particular culture, values, and perspective. I aim to step into your context and framework, learning what is important to you as a unique individual within your story and life experiences.

My desire is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space, helping you feel the freedom to genuinely and curiously explore your life and experiences constructively. My approach is one of sincere curiosity and empathy, seeking to understand your uniqueness. I will come alongside you and seek to empower you through the strengths and positive qualities you already have. Addressing your pain, trauma, or unproductive patterns in life can feel draining at times, but I’ll consistently walk with you as you seek to find and pursue healing. We will collaborate on a direction for therapy and a pace that suits you.
