Personal Statement

I believe that healing begins in the presence of empathy, safety, and connection. Our relationships—whether with others or with ourselves—carry deep meaning, and they often shape how we navigate the world. The therapeutic relationship can be a powerful space to begin untangling pain, exploring identity, and discovering new ways of being. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity, honoring where you are and what you bring into the room.

My name is Josh and I’m honored that you’re considering me as a partner in your healing journey. I strive to meet you with authenticity, non-judgment, and an open heart. Whatever you may be carrying—grief, trauma, confusion, hope—I’m here to listen and support you. You are not alone. You are worthy of care and understanding.

I have experience supporting individuals and couples across a range of issues, including anxiety, identity exploration, grief and loss, cultural and generational issues, spiritual and faith-based struggles, relationship challenges, and sexual addiction. I especially value working with people navigating questions of belonging, self-worth, and identity.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy centers around the task of uncovering and pursuing the ideal life that you want to live. Part of this task is identifying the things that get in the way of achieving your goals and then figuring out together how to gain the skills and resources necessary to overcome these hurdles. Through this process my hope is that you learn more about yourself, your needs and develop a greater ability to love yourself. With this foundation, my hope is that no matter what difficulties come your way, you will feel equipped and secure to tackle the challenge.
