Personal Statement
I believe that everyone can benefit from a therapeutic experience. Whether it’s mental health maintenance or processing a deep hurt, I desire to provide a comfortable environment where people from all backgrounds can meet their emotions without judgment or fear.
I see the client-therapist relationship as an alliance. Together we try to discuss your story, understand your needs, and experience feelings past and present. I’ve worked with families, children, teens, adults, and older adults, and especially enjoy teaching all ages about processing emotions. Sometimes, I use play therapy and art therapy techniques as we don’t always have the words to express our experiences. I’ve also worked alongside folks who struggle to find direction after traumatic experiences or life transitions, and strive to provide a safe place for them to explore what the next steps may look like in their mental health journey.
In my free time, I like learning about plants, doodling at coffee shops, and snuggling with my cats.
