Personal Statement

I believe that everyone has a story to tell and deserves to be heard, seen, and valued. The challenges we face, whether big or small, can bring about overwhelming emotions, anxiety, fear, and stress that can make it difficult to interact with the world around us. I care deeply about creating a supportive environment where individuals, couples, or families feel comfortable sharing their struggles without fear of judgment or shame. Sometimes people simply need someone to truly listen, meet them where they are, and walk alongside them through difficult moments.

Starting your therapeutic journey can feel vulnerable and intimidating. I would be honored to walk with you, not just through your struggles, but also through helping you recognize your strengths. I desire to provide practical tools and healthy coping skills to help regulate emotions, increase self-awareness, and regain a sense of control and empowerment in your life. I am also passionate about helping individuals navigate family dynamics and relational challenges, recognizing how family experiences and relationships can deeply impact emotional well-being, communication, and personal growth.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and loved ones, roller blading in the sunshine, and baking homemade sourdough bread.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is to foster a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe every person has a story worthy of being listened to, and my hope is to provide an environment where you can be met exactly where you are in your journey—free from judgment and shame. I strive to listen with compassion, care, and respect for your story, creating a supportive space for healing and growth.

Through this collaborative process, we will work together to build trust and a strong therapeutic relationship as we address the areas of life that may be impacting you or weighing you down. My goal is to provide practical tools and healthy coping skills that help regulate emotions, increase self-awareness, and restore a sense of autonomy and empowerment. I also believe growth often comes through gentle encouragement and honest reflection, and I hope to support and challenge you in ways that promote healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
