Personal Statement
Most of my career life has been spent helping others find their confidence, competence, and motivation to move into new levels of growth and development, whether in their leadership, relationships, self-awareness, communication, health, or spiritual life. There is something innate within me that has always loved to see the before-and-after–the transformation–that can happen in a person with some new awareness, guidance, and good ‘ole hard work of going from ideation to action.
My formal education is in Communication. I spent many years using this communication training in a variety of settings, including teaching public speaking at the university level. However, alongside this communication career, I have held a variety of leadership and mentoring positions. These career paths have developed in me an ability to help others grow in mind, body, and spirit; aptitude and action.
Years ago, I went through a personal health crisis and discovered a new path for using my communication and leadership skills. I started a non-profit organization that helped to motivate, educate, and encourage people in improving their health. Currently, I am part of a planning team that hosts annual conferences, which empower people to next steps into renewed health.
So, now, as a Life Coach, my education, profession, and passion have formed in me a desire and dedication to help others discover within themselves the motivation and action that will lead to transformation in their lives.
I would love to walk alongside you to help you achieve the outcomes that you desire. Maybe you know what you need to do, but you feel stuck. Maybe you don’t know what to do and need help finding the next step to take. Wherever you’re at, I can coach you, in order to help you move to the next level in your life.

Approach to Coaching

Coaching helps move you forward to the future that you desire. Coaching conversations bring clarity and awareness, which leads to hope and action. Important components of these conversations include awareness-producing questions, intentional listening, and clarifying feedback. Through the coaching relationship, you will understand your desires and goals more clearly, and you will feel empowered to take new clear action steps in your life.
Many people go through life feeling misunderstood, uninspired, and stuck. My desire is that through our coaching relationship that you will feel seen, understood, encouraged, and inspired. Let’s journey forward together.
